For what
It is mainly used in the grinding of final products and raw materials in cement plants, as well as metallurgical, chemical, electric power, silicate products, new building materials, refractories, fertilizers, ferrous and non-ferrous metal beneficiation and glass ceramics, etc. It is also suitable for dry or wet grinding of ore and other abrasive materials.
How to work
The material is fed into the first position of the ball mill by the feeding machine through the hollow shaft of the feed material. The chamber has a step liner or a corrugated liner, which contains steel balls of different specifications. After the cylinder rotates to generate centrifugal force, the steel ball is brought to a certain height. Drop, heavy blow and grinding effect on the material. After the raw material reaches the rough grinding in the first position, it enters the second position via a single-layered partition board. The leveling insert has a flat lining plate with steel balls inside and the material is further ground. The powder is discharged through the discharge sampan plate to complete the grinding operation.
The main working part of the ball mill grinding material occurs on the cylinder which is rotated horizontally and slowly. When the cylinder is rotated by the transmission device, the grinding body is attached to the liner surface of the cylinder’s inner wall due to the effect of inertial centrifugal force. The slewing together, after being brought to a certain height, is free to fall by gravity. At this moment, the grinding body breaks the material in the cylinder, and the grinding body also generates a circulating motion in addition to the ascending and descending motion in the rotating mill. Sliding and rolling causes grinding between the grinding body, the liner and the material being grinded to grind the material. When the material is subjected to impact crushing and grinding, the material level of the material itself at the feeding port and the discharging port is different, so that the material slowly flows from the feeding end to the discharging end to complete the grinding operation.
