Ball mills are widely used in cement, silicate products, new building materials, refractories, fertilizers, black and non-ferrous metal beneficiation and glass-ceramic industries, and dry or wet grinding of various ores and other abrasive materials.
Working principle
The motor drives the cylinder to rotate through the deceleration device. The crushing ore and steel ball in the cylinder are subjected to friction and centrifugal force when the cylinder rotates,after been brought to a certain height, due to the action of gravity, the ore will fall, and been crushed and ground gradually under the action of impact . The crushed ore is discharged out of the drum through the discharge section. After the discharged minerals are classified into qualified products in a spiral classifier, the coarse ore is returned to the ball mill through the combined feeder and the grinding continues. Combined with the feeder feeding continuously and evenly,the ore enters the ball mill continuously and uniformly , and the ground material is continuously discharged from the ball mill, thus the ball mill is a grinding device that can continuously work.
Feature
1. Low wear rate. The machine is composed of feeding part, discharging part, turning part, and transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, and electric control). The hollow shaft is made of cast steel and the inner lining can be replaced. The slewing bull gear is processed by casting hobbling. The barrel body is inlaid with a wear-resistant liner and of good wear resistance.
Wet type ball mill is a new type of ball mill ,which adopts special rolling bearing as supporting structure of cylinder body. It systematically solves the problem of cylinder turbulence,increasing the life of the heavy-duty rolling bearing used for sliding bearings and aligning problems, sealing problems under harsh environmental conditions.
2. Energy-saving. Compared with the traditional ball mill, this kind of ball mill can reduce the motor power, saving the lubricating oil, the cooling water, and more energy; saving a lot of maintenance costs,time and labor.
